tried this with jailbroken 1.1.4 iphone to macbookpro 10.4.
The copy to folder icon in the Diskid window lists as copy to Mac. this is as far as I could get

I just got my iPhone and I haven't got the hang of it yet. I always get messages that I'd like to save and read later. This tutorial is very explicit and I think I got the idea. From now on, all my messages will be stored on my computer. I knew the iPhone was a good idea.

today, i would talk about how to transfer your text messages between you cell phone and pc, first you need to down load a tool called Godsw sms transfer, pretty small and useful, i took this application couple months ago, and found it is turely amazing. ok

Step 1: Download the SMS Transfer Tool
Step 2: Unzip the file you downloaded just now and copy the installation file "GodswMobileSMSTransferSetup.CAB" to your mobile device. You may need to connect your device to a host computer using ActiveSync. You can also transfer the file using a memory card.
Step 3: On your device, navigate to the location of the CAB file using File Explorer. Click on the CAB file (displayed as the following screenshot) and click "Install" to begin the installation.
Step 4: Now installation completes. Select "OK" to continue.
Secondly,you should follow the instrution about how to handle this piece of cake.

Step 1: Click "start" and then select programs.

Step 3:You can see all your backup sms in your computer with SMS Transfer Manager Now!

Also, you could delete some of the messages and export the sms to a new file and restore to your mobile phone.

4. Restore SMS from pc to mobile

Before backup, the mobile phone does not have any messages as a brand new phone.

Step 1: Click on "SMS Transfer" in programs list to run it.
Step 2: Click on "Restore Messages" in the main interface to save your SMS messages into mobile phone.

Step 3: Select and click on the stf file to be restored.

There are gaps in my exported .csv files…i.e. not all of text messages appear. Anyone know why? First column on the left in .csv file is sequential and it skips 3, 7, 10, etc messages at a time…what's up w/that?

Im using windows and i tried to download SQLite database browser but it's not working. Everytime i try to open the sms.db with it, it's like it's not working. Dont know why.
