If you have followed my tutorial “Hackintosh Tutorial: Install a Mac Leopard OS X Retail DVD on a PC“, then you shouldn’t have any problems upgrading your Mac OS X Leopard to the latest versions using “Software Update”.
I have already updated my Leopard to 10.5.5 previously without problems so I did another “Software Update” for the latest Leopard version 10.5.6. Please don’t forget the first time you reboot after installing the update, you need to type -v -f from the boot prompt. You don’t have to do this the next time.
Enjoy!

Great tips. Great site.
I have n notebook with AMD 64 X2 Dual-Core QL62. Can I Install Leo or not? And which one?
Thanks.
I don't believe AMD processors are supported in OSX only intel. I could be wrong though.
great.
I get the Apple logo with spinning wheel after updating from 10.5.5 to 10.5.6. I restarted with the -v -f option but to no avail. Any idea on what's gone wrong?
