This may or may not help you but I have only been able to get Fusion to run successfully on vanilla kernel. I used to run Voodoo kernel and Fusion crashed every time I tried to start a VM. Good luck!

While in the virtualized Vista running from Fusion 2.0 off my Mac I cannot see any hard drive partition other than my C: where my windows folder is located. I have 3 other partitions on this drive which are FAT32 formatted. Is this normal. I know that i can allow network sharing and view them that way, but I wasnt sure if it was possible to have them show up as HDD under My Computer.
Thanks

If you get an error 1327 on install of VMware tools then you have changed the default location of "My Documents" in Vista. You will need to change these back to the default "X":users"user name" . You may also need to go to the registry and edit
"HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerShell Folders"

"HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerUser Shell Folders"

back to the default location for personal or my documents.
After install you can remap the my documents folder back to the area of your choice. I dont know why it needs "My documents" to install but after google searching I found this to be the solution

Great work on your website!!! Keep it up.
