you could google "10.5.2 devin" and have your sleep working and your computer won't take 2 1/2 minutes to load. when i had xp, i did used iatkos v1.0ir2, and followed devin's guide exactly, and had it working on my computer first time through. no problems at all - sleep worked, fast boot up, etc.

when i updated xp to vista...yeah...stupid...i used iatkos v1.0 and followed devin's guide again, again, works perfectly EXCEPT that i have to run -f when loading, otherwise i get a kernal panic telling me to reboot at the grey apple screen. *shrug* big deal, 3 extra keystrokes.

so check devin's guide out. it's more involved than kalyway's update, but i got it right on the first try, it's not hard, and it's MUCH better than kalyway's. i like not having to wait 2 1/2 minutes for my computer to load on that white screen...
